On the afternoon of September 24, the third Zijin Cultural and Creative Salon and Provincial Key Think Tank Symposium of Zijin Cultural and Creative Research Institute in 2022 was successfully held. This issue of Zijin Cultural and Creative Salon focuses on the provincial key think tank project Research on the Evaluation System and Construction Path of Jiangsu Province Literary and Art Fine Arts Creation Highland led by Professor Li Xiangmin, the chief expert of our institute and vice president of Nanjing University of the Arts, aiming to listen to the opinions of experts and literary and artistic creators on the definition of literary and artistic works, the construction of the evaluation index system of literary and artistic masterpieces, and the training and introduction of literary and artistic talents from the perspectives of literary and artistic creation and literary and artistic management.

Zhou Dongliang fully affirmed the achievements made by the performing arts industry in Jiangsu Province since the implementation of the Three-Year Action Plan for Building a Highland for the Creation of Literary and Art Fine Works. Whether it is the quantity and quality of newly created plays, the number of national literary awards, or the support for performing talents, Jiangsu Province is at the forefront of the country. He believes that Jiangsu's literary and artistic creation support policy is long-term, allowing smaller city- and county-level literary and art troupes to produce excellent plays.
Xiao Yajun combined with the actual operation of the Kunming Opera in Jiangsu Province, and proposed that the evaluation of literary and artistic masterpieces can start from two aspects: economic benefits and social benefits. Literary and artistic forms like Kunqu opera, which have undertaken the mission of inheriting intangible cultural heritage but are difficult to survive by relying on the market, should focus on social benefits and take into account economic benefits when evaluating. Since the implementation of the Three-Year Action Plan for Building a Highland for the Creation of Literary and Art Fine Works, the Kunqu Opera in Jiangsu Province has obtained more special funds, which can devote its main energy to artistic creation, and also broke the curse that Kunqu opera cannot create modern opera.
Starting from his own experience of applying for the National Arts Fund, Yin Wuming talked about the whole-process care of Jiangsu Province's cultural and art management cadres for the creation of literary and artistic masterpieces, which can effectively guide the creative direction of literary artists on the one hand, and encourage literary artists on the other hand.
Song Deyong pointed out that the creation of Jiangsu literary and artistic masterpieces is closely related to the cultivation of literary and artistic talents, excellent literary and artistic talents are the premise of the output of literary and artistic masterpieces, and the establishment of a good institutional mechanism for literary and artistic talents plays an important role in promoting the creation of literary and artistic masterpieces. In the process of art education reform, art colleges and universities need to clarify the needs of literary and artistic works, optimize the structure of teachers and knowledge system, and provide support for the creation of literary and artistic masterpieces from the perspective of talent training.
Deng Pan believes that the development of literature and art is inseparable from the development of the city, and there is a harmonious and symbiotic relationship between the city and literature and art, literature and art make the city great, and the city provides development space for literature and art. According to statistics, the urbanization rate of Jiangsu Province has reached 73.9%, and the urbanization rate of Nanjing City has reached 86.9%, and the city has become the main field of cultural consumption in Jiangsu Province, so literary and artistic creation should take the initiative to intervene in the renewal of the city.
Jiang Xiaomeng pointed out that the creation of literary and artistic masterpieces should first grasp the context of literary and artistic creation and create works that are both applauded and popular; secondly, talent is the most important guarantee for the creation of literary and artistic masterpieces. For literary and artistic talents, it is not only necessary to give material treatment corresponding to ability, but also to give stage, team, understanding and respect.
